64 Uzbeks stranded on road in Kazakhstan evacuated

64 citizens of Uzbekistan who were stuck on the road in Kazakhstan were rescued, Kazinform reported with reference to the press service of the Emergency Situations Department of Aqmola region.

Reportedly, 64 Uzbek passengers stranded on the road in Akmola region were evacuated, 17 of them are children.

According to reports, on February 15, a passenger bus traveling on the route “Astana-Chelyabinsk” broke down near the village of Jaqsy on the road “Jaqsy-Esil-Buzuluk”.

The rescuers of Jaksi district immediately reached the place of call. They took the passengers of the damaged bus to the warming place located in secondary school No. 1 in the village of Jaqsy. The passengers did not require medical attention.

Earlier, the Foreign Labor Migration Agency issued a warning to the citizens of Uzbekistan, who are in Kazakhstan and are moving in the transit route, and asked them not to drive on long-distance roads unless necessary.
