Samarkand to host Canoe Sprint World Championships this summer
This summer, Uzbekistan is set to host the Canoe Sprint World Championships for adults.

According to the National Olympic Committee, the event will take place from August 23-25 in Samarkand.
The tournament will gather the world's top canoeists and kayakers to compete for medals at the only rowing channel in Central Asia that meets all global standards.
The competition will be held after the conclusion of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, with medals contested over non-Olympic distances.
