By the end of the year, heads of responsible ministries and agencies, as well as regional leaders, are mandated to employ 20,000 people with disabilities in state-funded organizations and at least 1,000 individuals in banks.
The president issued the order during a meeting on Tuesday dedicated to expanding services in the sphere of social protection.
The Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction is instructed to create a conducive environment and necessary infrastructure for training individuals with disabilities at mono-centers, as well as to implement a system for awarding them scholarships.
Furthermore, a system will be established for the sale of products manufactured by people with disabilities, based on home-based businesses and crafts, through an electronic platform.
