President awards CEC chairman Zayniddin Nizomkhodjayev the title of Honored Youth Mentor

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree conferring the honorary title “Honored Mentor of Youth of the Republic of Uzbekistan” on the occasion of his 70th anniversary to the CEC Chairman Zayniddin Nizamkhodjaev.

On Tuesday, the head of state presented Zayniddin Nizomkhodjayev with the badge of this title. It was awarded for “many years of fruitful work in representative bodies of government and the healthcare system of our country, great merits in improving the national electoral system in accordance with generally accepted international standards, successful implementation of democratic reforms, implementation of the constitutional rights of citizens, worthy contribution to the training of highly qualified personnel, education the younger generation in the spirit of love and devotion to the Motherland”.

For information, Zayniddin Nizomkhodjayev (born in 1954) is a doctor of medical sciences, professor. He has headed the CEC since February 2021. Prior to his appointment, since January 2020, he was Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis. In 2014, he was awarded the title “Hero of Uzbekistan”.
