Mild tremors felt in Uzbekistan after a magnitude 5.4 earthquake hit Tajikistan
At 08:47 Friday, an earthquake was felt in Tashkent and other regions of Uzbekistan with an epicenter in the Lakhsh region of Tajikistan.
According to the Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the epicenter was located 313 km in the southeast direction from the capital. The magnitude at the epicenter was 5.4. The depth of the source is 15 km.
In Tashkent and Syrdarya region, tremors were felt with a force of 2 points, in Andijan and Namangan regions – 2-3 points, Fergana region – 3 points.
