Mild earthquake hits Navoi region
On November 15, a 3.9-magnitude earthquake hit the Navoi region of Uzbekistan, according to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring under the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The earthquake occurred at 11:59 a.m. local time, with its epicenter located in Tomdi district, Navoi region. The coordinates of the epicenter were 41.12°N latitude and 64.1°E longitude, at a depth of 15 kilometers.
The seismic activity was recorded 427 kilometers northwest of Tashkent. No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been issued.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation for aftershocks or potential risks.
