Uzbekistan and Hungary commit to deepen democratic cooperation
A delegation of deputies from Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan visited Hungary as part of an exchange of experiences aimed at further strengthening the democratic processes in the republic.

The meetings included negotiations with Hungary's National Assembly Vice-Speaker Sándor Lezák, as well as the leadership of leading political and expert-analytical institutions.
The parties highly praised the fundamental reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan in all aspects of political and socio-economic life. It was emphasized that these changes are aimed at building a new state where human rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests are considered the highest value.
Following the meetings, the parties reached agreements on establishing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
