Individual who attempted to smuggle 55 iPhone and Samsung phones into the republic detained in Namangan

During an operative event carried out by employees of the customs department of Fergana and Namangan regions, an inspection was carried out over the Nexia car, the driver of which aroused suspicion. The vehicle was stopped in Namangan and searched in the presence of impartial parties.

In the car trunk, 45 units of iPhone of different years of manufacture, 9 units of Samsung phones and 1 unit of LG were found, for a total of 55 units of mobile phones. The driver did not have any accompanying documents for the products confirming the completion of customs procedures.

The total value of the detected mobile phones was 292 million soums.

Currently, customs checks are being carried out on this fact.
