Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and the UK sign Declaration on Comprehensive Cooperation
Bakhtiyor Saidov and David Cameron have outlined key tasks for strengthening Uzbek-British relations across all areas.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the visiting Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, David Cameron.
"Our conversation was both productive and substantial, allowing us to outline key tasks aimed at strengthening Uzbek-British relations in all areas. The main focus was on increasing economic ties. We appreciate the British side's readiness to assist in activating business connections and deepening cooperation in the field of education," the head of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in his Telegram channel.
During the meeting, a Declaration on Comprehensive Cooperation and a Memorandum of Understanding in the areas of regional and international relations and infrastructure were signed.
