Worker remains trapped underground at construction site in Tashkent
The incident occurred in the Dilbulok mahalla in the capital’s Yakkasaray district, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

On May 24, during welding work, one of the builders working in the foundation pit of a building under construction was trapped underground. Emergencies Ministry employees quickly arrived at the scene and rescued the worker from the dirt trap.
The man was promptly taken to the hospital; his life is not in danger.
