Russia and Uzbekistan plan to conclude an agreement on a rearmament program, said the head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia Dmitry Shugayev in an interview with Channel One.
“On our agenda is the conclusion of an agreement on a rearmament program. In any case, this will undoubtedly affect the Air Force, Air Defense, and ground forces equipment. This is a fairly wide range. We will discuss, develop further, and help our colleagues,” the FSMTC Director Dmitry Shugayev said.
It should be recalled that the Russian President extended his visit to Tashkent to three days. This is Vladimir Putin’s first three-day visit to a foreign country since the pandemic.
