Uzbekistan boosts fruit and vegetable exports by 43.3% in early 2024
According to the Statistics Agency, in January-April 2024, Uzbekistan exported 514.8 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables valued at $298.5 million.
The figure increased by 43.3% or 155.6 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2023.
The main export markets for fruit and vegetable products were Russia (26.3%), Pakistan (24.2%), Kazakhstan (13%), and China (9.3%).
In January-April 2024, the share of fruit and vegetable exports accounted for 3.5% of total exports.
