KamAZ truck hits two small children to death in Samarkand
The accident occurred when a woman was crossing the road with two children at a pedestrian crossing.

According to information from the Samarkand regional DIA, on June 4 at approximately 16:30, a fatal accident occurred on the 35th km of the A-378 Samarkand-Guzor highway, passing through the Mekhnatkash mahalla, Nurabad district.
A 25-year-old KamAZ driver hit a woman and her two minor children, who were crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing.
The children died at the scene due to their injuries. The woman was hospitalized at the central hospital of the Samarkand region.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph “a” of Article 266-3 of the Criminal Code (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles, resulting in human casualties). The truck driver was procedurally detained. Investigations are underway.
