PM Aripov introduces newly appointed candidates to government members
Abduvakkos Rafikov was appointed Chairman of the Committee on Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, Azim Akhmadkhodjayev – Director of the Atomic Energy Agency, Jamshid Tursunov – Chairman of the Committee on Highways.

Today, June 21, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov presented to the government members a number of candidates appointed and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on the basis of relevant resolutions of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In particular:
• Abduvakkos Rafikov, Chairman of the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety under the Cabinet of Ministers;
• Azim Akhmadkhodjayev, Director of the Atomic Energy Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers;
• Olimjon Umarov, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies;
• Jamshid Tursunov, Chairman of the Committee on Highways of the Ministry of Transport.
At the same time, in accordance with the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the appointment of Amriddin Abdurakhmanov to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Highways of the Ministry of Transport was announced to introduce advanced foreign experience in the field of road management and digitalization issues.
