Sherbek Buronov becomes mayor of Narpay district
Sherzod Rakhmonov, who served as head of the district since 2020, was relieved of his post due to his transfer to another job. Sherbek Buronov, a member of the Legislative Chamber Committee on Anti-Corruption and Judicial and Legal Issues, has become the district head.
An extraordinary session of the district Council of People’s Deputies was held in the Narpay district of Samarkand region. The organizational issue is considered.
According to the regional administration, Sherzod Rakhmonov, who has led the district since 2020, has been relieved of his post as district mayor due to his transfer to another job.
During the session, deputies approved the candidacy of Sherbek Buronov for the post of Narpay district mayor.
Sherbek Buronov was born in 1985 in the Narpay district, Samarkand region. Since 2003, he has worked in various positions in the banking system.
Since 2021, he has been a member of the Anti-Corruption and Judicial Issues Committee of the Oliy Majlis Legislative Chamber.
