Tashkent metro undertakes to eliminate shortcomings in train cooling system
The administration of the “Toshkent metropoliteni” promised to eliminate shortcomings in the cooling system of rolling stock that run along the elevated ring line.

Earlier, reports appeared on social networks that the cooling system in the new trains did not work. To eliminate the shortcomings, more than 15 specialists from Russia were brought in to modernize the settings of the cooling systems. “As a result of the work carried out, the shortcomings that arise will be completely eliminated in the coming days,” the metro emphasized.
“There are 10 trains running on the elevated metro line, 8 of which are trains purchased this year, the air conditioning system of which has the ability to operate in accordance with the established standard at air temperatures up to +50 degrees,” the report notes.
In addition, over the past years, two trains have been added, which are intended mainly for movement in underground metro stations, and their air conditioning system is designed to operate at temperatures up to +40 degrees.
