Privatization of "Uztemiryulkonteyner" resumes with 35% stake up for sale
The privatization of the state company was halted in October 2023 during the reform of Uzbekistan Railways.

The State Assets Management Agency is resuming the privatization of part of the state share in the company "Uztemiryulkonteyner," according to the agency's website.
A 35% stake in the enterprise, which is part of Uzbekistan Railways, is up for sale. The transaction is being advised by the company Alkes Research.
Interested parties are invited to submit an expression of interest. The application must include information about the company, its shareholders, founders, and beneficiaries, as well as financial statements for the past three years.
Applications in Uzbek, Russian, or English are to be sent via email to [email protected]. The deadline is 18:00 Tashkent time on August 15.
Qualified applicants will be invited to participate in the next stages of the auction. After signing a non-disclosure agreement, they will receive access to an information memorandum with detailed information about the asset.
