New school year in Uzbekistan to begin on September 4

According to information provided by the Ministry's press service, the school year will commence on September 4.

This date was selected based on a presidential decree that designates additional non-working days during the celebration of national holidays and the rescheduling of weekends in 2024.

"In connection with the celebration of Independence Day, the new 2024/2025 academic year in all schools will begin on September 4," the official statement said.
