China dominates as main market for Uzbekistan's mung bean exports in 2024
According to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency, Uzbekistan exported 37,000 tons of mung beans worth $28.6 million to foreign countries in the first half of 2024.

The majority of the exports were directed to China. During this period, Uzbekistan exported 34,300 tons of mung beans to the PRC.
The countries to which Uzbekistan exported the most mung beans in the first half of the year:
— Russia: 0.7 thousand tons;
— Netherlands: 0.5 thousand tons;
— Iraq: 0.3 thousand tons;
— Other countries: 1.2 thousand tons.
