Uzbekistan and Oman strengthening interregional cooperation
Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Oman visited the governorate (region) of al-Dakhiliyah, where they met with the head of the administration, Sheikh Hilal bin Said bin Hamdan al-Hajari.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Oman, the results of mutual visits between the leaders of the two countries that took place last year, as well as on the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan.
The issues of signing an agreement on establishing twinning relations between the ancient capital of Oman, Nizwa, and the city of Bukhara, as well as an agreement on cooperation in the trade, cultural and humanitarian spheres were considered.
During the visit, a meeting was held in the city of Nizwa with a number of major businessmen, at which issues of developing mutual trade and investment cooperation were discussed.
