Ilham Aliyev arrives in Uzbekistan on a state visit

Today, on August 22, at the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, arrived in the country on a state visit.

The distinguished guest was greeted at Tashkent International Airport by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and other officials.

Aliyev is expected to hold talks with Mirziyoyev to discuss further strengthening of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
