Farmer who stole electricity worth about 1.4 billion UZS detained
It was found out that a farmer in Zaamin district of Jizzakh region illegally used electricity, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.

Kh.N., head of the “S.R.” farm, connected the water pump intended for irrigation of the land belonging to the farm by changing connection schemes in the network.
As a result, he stole 622.6 thousand kWh of electricity worth 1 billion 395 million UZS.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated against Kh.N., head of the “S.R.” farm, under Paragraph “a” of Article 169-4, of the Criminal Code (a large amount of theft), and the suspect was detained in procedural order.
