Uzbekistan and Russia sign key agreements on railway transport, pharmaceutical labeling, and medical training
Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan and Russia held a meeting in Tashkent.
Tashkent hosted the 5th meeting of the Joint Commission at the government leadership level between Russia and Uzbekistan. Following the meeting, Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a joint communiqué.
Additionally, several other documents were inked, including:
- An agreement between the governments on cooperation in implementing the "Agroexpress" accelerated railway transportation project;
- An agreement between the governments on information exchange regarding the transmission of labeling codes for pharmaceuticals intended for medical use;
- A memorandum of intent between the Ministries of Health on the training, retraining, and qualification improvement of medical personnel.
