Uzbek man extradited from Türkiye for fraud suspect

Citizen A.A. was extradited to Uzbekistan with the participation of the Consulate General staff. He was arrested during a joint operation of the Turkish and Uzbek Interior Ministries and has been wanted since 2019 on charges of fraud.

Citizens who have suffered from the actions of this person are encouraged to contact the Consulate General in Istanbul or the Ministry of Internal Affairs or its subordinate systems.

Criminal prosecution will be consistently continued, the principle of liability for the crime against each person hiding in foreign countries, including Turkey, will be strictly ensured.

Citizens are urged to beware of deception by fraudsters, given the increase in the number of requests to the Consulate General regarding cases of fraud.
