Centrum Air to launch direct flights from Tashkent to Guangzhou starting in November
Centrum Air has announced the launch of direct flights between Tashkent and Guangzhou, China. The service will commence on November 3, 2024, and will operate weekly, every Sunday, with plans to increase frequency in December.
Initially, flights from Tashkent to Guangzhou will be offered once a week, departing from Tashkent at 17:10 and arriving in Guangzhou at 2:40 the following day. Return flights from Guangzhou will take off at 4:10 on Monday, landing in Tashkent at 8:40. Starting in December, the airline will add a second weekly flight, operating on both Wednesdays and Sundays.
These flights will be operated by Airbus A321neo aircraft, known for their fuel efficiency and modern amenities. Ticket prices for the new route start at 9.29 million UZS, making it a competitive option for passengers traveling between Uzbekistan and southern China.
This new route is expected to strengthen business and tourism ties between Uzbekistan and China, offering more travel options for passengers looking to explore the growing economic and cultural exchanges between the two nations. The introduction of this route comes as China Southern Airlines, a major Chinese carrier, also announced its plans to begin service from Guangzhou to Uzbekistan by 2025. China Southern's flights will include a stopover in Urumqi.
