President Mirziyoyev departs for Saudi Arabia
The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for Saudi Arabia on an official visit at the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
During his stay, Mirziyoyev will participate in an extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh on November 11, where he is scheduled to deliver a speech.
The president's itinerary includes participation in two high-profile international summits. Following his engagement in Saudi Arabia, Mirziyoyev will travel to Azerbaijan from November 12-13 at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
In Baku, he will attend events at the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP29), which focuses on global climate action.
