Serbia and Uzbekistan to strengthen cooperation on migration
The enhancement of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Serbia was discussed in Lisbon.
As part of the Alliance of Civilizations Forum, held in Lisbon, Portugal, a meeting took place between Bahromjon Aloyev, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and Nikola Stojanović, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions focused on advancing bilateral relations to a new level, developing economic diplomacy, and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation.
The parties highlighted the importance of expanding the legal and contractual framework and fostering cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sectors.
Particular attention was given to migration issues. The need to promote legal migration and enhance measures for the protection of citizens' rights and interests was emphasized.
