License plate sale in online auction sets new price record, surpassing 1 billion UZS
The license plate "01 888 BBB," which was put up for bid in an online license plate auction, was sold for 965 million 250 thousand UZS (about $74,750).
This was the highest bid when the auction for the license plate ended.
Initially listed with a starting price of 337 million 500 thousand UZS (about $26,100), the price of this license plate rose to 965 million 250 thousand UZS (about $74,750) by the end of the auction.
The commission fee for this license plate was 48.7 million UZS (about $3,770), and the deposit amounted to 33.75 million UZS (about $2,610). Taking into account the payment fees, the final value amounted to 1 billion 14 million UZS (about $78,130).
In 2023, the state license plate "01 777 RRR" was sold for 893 million UZS (about $69,100).
