It was noted that this year, Uzbekistan plans to provide employment for 5.2 million people, lift 1.5 million citizens out of poverty, attract $42 billion in foreign investments, and increase export volumes to over $30 billion.

Additionally, 8,000 projects worth $14 billion are set to be implemented, creating 272,000 permanent jobs.

Preliminary estimates indicate that last year, Uzbekistan attracted $3 billion in foreign investments. A similar amount is expected in February, alongside the launch of 630 new projects.

The president also stressed the need to accelerate investment efforts and manage each project with a targeted approach. Officials have been instructed to work closely with foreign partners, support entrepreneurs in entering international markets, and integrate more enterprises into export activities.
