Water tariffs to increase in Samarkand region
The new rates will take effect next month.
Starting April 1, new tariffs for drinking water and sewage services will be introduced in the Samarkand region. This decision was approved by the Regional Council of People’s Deputies on March 24.
According to the established rates, the cost of one cubic meter of drinking water will be as follows:
• For the general population: 2,800 UZS (excluding VAT);
• For budgetary organizations and wholesale consumers: 6,700 UZS (excluding VAT).
The cost of sewage services will be:
• For the general population: 1,900 UZS (excluding VAT);
• For budgetary organizations and wholesale consumers: 5,300 UZS (excluding VAT).
