During the "Government Hour" session held at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Deputy Minister of Health Olim Omonov provided detailed information about the measures being taken to prevent corruption factors in the sector.
It was reported that, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and UZINFOCOM, a unified healthcare information system, DMED, has been developed. Today, this system is capable of entering the electronic medical records for 24 million people.
Additionally, to prevent secret agreements between healthcare workers and pharmaceutical companies, the "Electronic Prescription" module has been developed within the unified healthcare information system (DMED).
This module enables electronic prescriptions considering the doses and forms of medications, controls the sale of drugs with proper labeling, automates the reporting process, and allows tracking prescriptions via a mobile application for patients.
Moreover, mobile applications have been created for both the population and healthcare providers. The DMED information system has been installed in 2,475 out of 2,571 primary healthcare institutions. Currently, work is underway to purchase and install the necessary equipment, train medical staff to use the system, and input data into the information system.
