Uzbekistan-themed cultural park to be established in Baku

As part of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s state visit to Azerbaijan, a ceremonial event was held in Baku to lay the foundation stone for the Uzbekistan Park, according to the presidential press service.
The new park will be located in the prestigious and rapidly developing “White City” district of the Azerbaijani capital.
According to the project plan, the park will span 8.5 hectares and will feature a large-scale complex showcasing Uzbekistan’s rich culture and traditions.
“The park will include replicas of Uzbek architectural landmarks, walking areas, green zones, a hotel, as well as various shopping and entertainment venues. The buildings will incorporate traditional Uzbek architectural elements and ornamental designs,” the statement said.
At the ceremony, the leaders of both countries jointly laid a symbolic capsule at the foundation of the park, marking the start of construction on this important initiative.
