Saida Mirziyoyeva holds talks with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov
Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, met with the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov.
In a post on her Telegram channel, Mirziyoyeva thanked the leader of the neighboring country for the warm welcome and for the meaningful meeting that took place in an open and trusting spirit.
“The meeting highlighted that our nations are united by their aspiration for progress and prosperity, built on mutual trust and respect. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attaches particular importance to strengthening ties with Kyrgyzstan as our closest neighbor and strategic partner.
“The successful agreements on border issues, the mutual recognition of national ID documents, the establishment of joint ventures, as well as major joint projects such as the Kambarata HPP-1 and the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway, are clear proof of this.


“The competitions of the ‘Zakovat’ intellectual game held in our countries were also acknowledged. This initiative was noted as a highly effective effort to strengthen friendly relations among our youth.
“Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are bound by centuries-old ties of kinship and neighborliness. We value them and will continue to strengthen them in the future,” the head of the Presidential Administration wrote.
