Tax Committee denies false claims of UZS 100 million compensation
The State Tax Committee has warned citizens about a fraudulent website spreading false information on behalf of the committee’s chair, claiming that compensation of up to UZS 100 million would be paid to the public.
In a statement, the committee stressed that the reports were fabricated and did not correspond to reality. It reminded the public that laws, government resolutions, and other regulatory documents are published only through official sources.
The Tax Committee urged citizens to rely solely on its official channels for accurate and verified information about taxation. It also called on the public to remain vigilant and not fall victim to fraudsters.
