Uzbekistan introduces online service for restoring lost driver’s licenses
Applications to restore the license must be submitted via the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services. The service is provided on a paid basis.
The Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services has launched an online service for restoring a driver’s license in case of loss, the portal’s press service reported.
To apply, users should visit my.gov.uz and select the “Driver’s license issuance” service. Then, they must choose the “Restoration of a lost driver’s license” section and submit an application.
The service fee is UZS 370,800. For home delivery by post, an additional UZS 25,000 must be paid.
The service is provided within one working day, or three working days if postal delivery is included.
An application will be rejected in the following cases:
- if information about the license cannot be verified in the system;
- if the applicant has been deprived of the right to drive;
- if administrative proceedings have been initiated against the applicant under Article 131 (Driving under the influence) or Article 136 (Failure by drivers and other road users to undergo sobriety testing) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Uzbekistan.
