President Mirziyoyev holds meeting with compatriots and El-yurt umidi scholars in the US
As he concluded his working visit to the United States, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with compatriots living and working in the country, as well as scholars studying at prestigious US universities under the El-yurt umidi Foundation.

The informal and cordial meeting focused on reforms underway in New Uzbekistan, particularly the involvement of compatriots and their organizations in actively advancing these changes.
At the meeting, the “International business marathon of compatriots” was launched, aimed at creating a platform for dialogue between successful entrepreneurs and young people.


Participants put forward proposals to expand and strengthen trade, economic, investment, scientific and educational ties between Uzbekistan and the US, to introduce advanced American technologies in priority sectors of the national economy, to promote innovations in medicine, transport and logistics, and to support the development of marketplaces in Uzbekistan.
The president expressed gratitude for the contributions made to the country’s development, noting that all the proposals and initiatives voiced would be carefully studied by the relevant ministries and agencies, with the most promising ones implemented in practice.

President Mirziyoyev paid special attention to the fact that the number of El-yurt umidi scholars in the US now exceeds 500. He stressed that supporting talented youth and creating opportunities to apply their knowledge and experience at home remains one of the government’s top priorities.
Wishing students success in their studies and future careers, the president reiterated that the state is always open to young people’s initiatives and ready to provide comprehensive support.


In turn, participants expressed gratitude to the Uzbek leader for the attention being given to compatriots and youth abroad, as well as for the conditions and opportunities created to help them realize their potential, affirming their readiness to make greater contributions to the country’s progress.
