At the start of the meeting, Gor congratulated Mirziyoyev on Uzbekistan’s 35th anniversary of independence and conveyed greetings and best wishes from US President Donald Trump.
The talks focused on further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States and implementing agreements reached at the highest level.
The sides noted the positive momentum in political dialogue, interparliamentary and interregional ties, as well as the steady expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation.
Particular attention was given to advancing joint projects and initiatives in priority areas, including energy, transport, critical minerals, digital technologies, artificial intelligence and agriculture.
The sides also discussed preparations for upcoming events under the C5+1 format and the next meeting of the Uzbekistan–America Business and Investment Council.
