UAE company expresses interest in hiring Uzbek taxi drivers
It has been reported that at the initial stage, there is an opportunity to employ around 200 citizens of Uzbekistan as taxi drivers. If their work performance proves satisfactory, an additional 500 Uzbek drivers may be recruited.

Representatives of Uzbekistan’s Consulate General held talks with Saeed Amin Abdulrahman, head of the United Arab Emirates’ Dubai Taxi Company PJSC.
The meeting focused on providing qualified drivers from Uzbekistan with legal and decent employment opportunities in the UAE.
Saeed Amin Abdulrahman expressed the company’s readiness to support the recruitment of experienced drivers from Uzbekistan from a legal standpoint and to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of external labor migration.
“At the initial stage, we have the capacity to hire around 200 Uzbek citizens as taxi drivers for our company. If their work efficiency is high, we can additionally employ up to 500 more Uzbek taxi drivers,” he said.
At the end of the talks, representatives of Uzbekistan’s Agency for External Labor Migration and Dubai Taxi Company PJSC agreed to discuss the next stages of cooperation in this area.
