Tashkent raises tariffs for hot water and heating services
Heating service tariffs for the population have been increased by 15 percent.

According to a decision by the Tashkent city mayor, new tariffs for centralized heating services provided by Veolia Energy Tashkent have been approved.
Under the decision, the tariff for heating services has been raised by 15 percent for residential consumers.
The new base tariffs (excluding VAT) are as follows: UZS 711,641 per Gcal as the base rate, UZS 139,860 per Gcal for households, UZS 952,797 per Gcal for budget-funded organizations, and UZS 342,296 per Gcal for other wholesale service providers.
These prices were approved by the Tashkent City Council of People’s Deputies on August 22.
The decision is set to take effect from October 27, the date of its official publication. However, according to legislation, if utility tariffs are to be increased, the public must be informed through mass media at least 15 days in advance.
