Shavkat Mirziyoyev holds talks with Kyrgyz and Tajik leaders ahead of Central Asia summit
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon in Tashkent ahead of the seventh Consultative Meeting of Central Asian heads of state.
The meetings, held at the Kuksaroy residence, focused on reviewing the implementation of previously reached high-level agreements and discussing ways to expand trade and economic cooperation. The leaders also exchanged views on key regional issues.
According to the Uzbek side, the presidents reaffirmed their readiness to continue working together to strengthen stability, mutual trust, and constructive dialogue across Central Asia.
Following the bilateral talks, the presidents of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan visited the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent.
