According to Uzhydromet’s review, temperatures in November did not follow the usual climatic pattern.

The first ten days of November were the coldest, with temperatures 1–4 degrees below normal. At the peak of the cold spell in mid-decade, nighttime temperatures dropped to −1…−6 degrees across much of the country, and in some northern areas to −9…−11 degrees.

The second and third ten-day periods were warm. In Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, and northern Navoi, November 2025 ranked among the three warmest Novembers on record, with temperatures 2–4 degrees above normal. Across the rest of the country, temperatures were close to long-term averages.

The highest temperatures were recorded in the middle of the month, when daytime readings climbed to +19…+22 degrees, and in southernmost areas and parts of Karakalpakstan to +23…+25 degrees.

November was abnormally dry. Rainfall occurred only once – on 4–5 November – and this was the sole period with precipitation. Dry weather persisted across Uzbekistan for the remainder of the month.

Overall monthly precipitation in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi, Surkhandarya and the regions of the Fergana Valley amounted to less than 15% of the norm. In these regions, last November ranked among the five driest Novembers on record. Elsewhere, precipitation ranged from 20% to 50% of the norm.

In mountainous areas, snowfall was observed on 4–5 November, forming an unstable snow cover that melted completely as temperatures rose.

What the autumn season looked like

On average, the autumn season of 2025 in Uzbekistan was warm and very dry. The mean seasonal temperature was 1–2 degrees above normal.

According to the review, this autumn ranked among the five driest on record.

Only the central and southern districts of Karakalpakstan recorded 40%–80% of the seasonal norm, while northern districts received 95%–222%.
