Residents and visitors in the affected areas have been urged to take precautions. Localized flooding is also possible in some areas.

In Tashkent region, the warning covers the districts of Ohangaron, Bostonlyk, Parkent, Piskent, Orta Chirchiq and Yuqori Chirchiq, as well as the cities of Angren and Almalyk.

In Jizzakh region, mudflows and flooding are possible in the districts of Zaamin, Bakhmal, Gallaorol, Sharof Rashidov, Forish and Yangiobod.

The warning also applies to the districts of Pop, Kosonsoy, Chortoq, Chust, Namangan and Yangiqorgon in Namangan region, and to the districts of Sokh, Shohimardon, Fergana and Besharyk in Fergana region.

In Andijan region, the potentially affected areas include Andijan, Asaka, Jalaquduq, Qorgontepa, Pakhtaobod, Izboskan, Khojaobod and Marhamat districts, as well as the city of Khanabad.

Residents of Yakkabog, Dehqonobod, Chiroqchi, Kitob, Shahrisabz, Koson and Guzor districts in Kashkadarya region have also been warned.

In Surkhandarya region, the warning covers Sariosiyo, Uzun, Oltinsoy, Denau, Boysun, Sherobod, Shorchi, Qumqorgon and Muzrabot districts.

Uzhydromet urged people living in or travelling to the affected areas to remain cautious during the period of expected rainfall.
