The agency said a convective storm cloud crossed the border into the district, bringing heavy hail.
In response, specialists from the Yangikurgan Hydrometeorological Complex carried out cloud-seeding operations aimed at suppressing hail formation and protecting agricultural crops from damage.
Six Alazan-6 rockets were launched from Command Post No. 1 toward Iskovot, Yangihayot and Khadikent. Another six were fired from Command Post No. 3 toward Bogiston and Urtayalangoch, while the remaining six were launched from Command Post No. 4 in the directions of Bogiston, Urtayalangoch and Khadikent.
The operation was conducted as part of efforts to reduce the impact of the hailstorm on farmland in the affected area.
