Domestic sales growth
Between January 1 and December 15, domestic sales turnover rose by 22 percent, while the number of items sold increased by 15 percent compared with the same period in 2024, Spot reported with reference to the company.
The fastest-growing categories by sales dynamics included smartphones and gadgets, where purchases surged more than sixteenfold year on year. Strong growth was also recorded in jewelry (sevenfold), workwear and personal protective equipment (fourfold), automotive electronics (fourfold), and footwear (more than double).
By product group, Uzbek consumers most frequently purchased:
- Beauty products: creams (+19%), serums (+5%), cosmetic gift sets (+33%);
- Books and media: books (+68%), calendars (+53%), textbooks (+29%);
- Clothing: T-shirts (+37%), dresses (+68%), pajamas (+56%), trousers (+55%);
- Holiday goods: Christmas ornaments (+120%), garlands (+58%), gift bags (+59%);
- Food products: candies (+255%), gift sets (+428%), chocolate bars (+69%).
Export performance
Compared with 2024, the sales turnover of Uzbek entrepreneurs on Wildberries increased 2.31 times, while the number of items sold nearly doubled.
Russia remains the main export market. This year, the number of items sold there grew by 92 percent, while turnover increased by 125 percent. The strongest growth was seen in books and media (nearly fortyfold), home textiles (sixfold), and smart home and security products (threefold).
Significant growth was also recorded in Belarus, where unit sales doubled and turnover rose 2.37 times. Sales of books and media jumped more than 200-fold, while sportswear sales increased more than sixtyfold.
Armenia emerged as one of the most dynamic markets. Unit sales rose more than fivefold, and turnover nearly sixfold. Wildberries attributed this largely to a low base effect and the active entry of Uzbek sellers into the new market. In Armenia, beauty product sales surged almost 98-fold, home textiles increased more than tenfold, and smart home and security products grew ninefold.
