Palestine appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan
Palestine has appointed Waill Ahmed Batrekhi as its new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan.
On January 14, Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with the ambassador and received copies of his credentials.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the development of Uzbekistan–Palestine relations in both bilateral and multilateral formats. The parties agreed to further strengthen friendly ties and constructive dialogue between the two states.
The minister wished the ambassador success in his new role as head of the diplomatic mission.
