Tashkent region to raise waste collection tariffs from April 1
Tariffs for solid household waste collection and disposal in Tashkent region will rise from April 1, with rates for households increasing by 38.6% and for businesses by 12%.
The new tariffs were approved by the Tashkent Regional Council of People’s Deputies on March 24.
Monthly fees for individuals will increase from UZS 7,000 per person (UZS 7,840 including VAT) to UZS 9,700 (UZS 10,864 including VAT).
For legal entities, the tariff for removing one cubic meter of waste will rise from UZS 74,000 (UZS 82,880 including VAT) to UZS 82,880 (UZS 86,890 including VAT).
The tariffs apply to the Tashkent regional department of the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency, as well as to several sanitation companies, including Zero Waster LLC, Zangiota Obodon LLC, Angren Bunyod Fayz LLC, Rahnamo Servis LLC, Ohangaron Sanitariya Tozalash LLC and the state enterprise Toshkent Viloyati Toza Hudud.
