According to the Dunyo information agency, the initiative was discussed during a meeting between the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the UAE, Umid Shadiev, and the company’s CEO, Tamer Akl.
The talks centered on advancing modern healthcare infrastructure through public-private partnership (PPP) models. Unison Capital Investment presented a strategy to create 100 full-cycle diagnostic centers nationwide. These facilities are expected to provide a wide range of medical services, including MRI, MSCT, X-ray, dialysis, and comprehensive laboratory diagnostics.
Beyond the national network, the parties reviewed a specific project for the Fergana region. This involves establishing computed tomography departments within existing medical institutions based on the PPP framework.
Following the meeting, the leadership of Unison Capital Investment agreed to attend the Tashkent International Investment Forum scheduled for June. During the forum, the company delegation will hold detailed negotiations with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade to finalize the project parameters.
