During the talks, it was noted that the official visit of the Uzbek President to Ankara in January of this year acted as a primary catalyst, elevating the comprehensive strategic partnership to an unprecedented level. This momentum has led to a more structured and active exchange between various ministries and departments, resulting in a newly established system of interaction designed to ensure the effective implementation of high-level agreements.

Economic indicators from the first half of the year reflect this diplomatic strengthening. The presidents highlighted a dynamic increase in mutual trade volumes, a growing number of joint ventures, and a rise in the frequency of direct flights between Uzbekistan and Turkey. Furthermore, a substantial portfolio of investment projects involving Turkish companies is currently being executed across various sectors of the Uzbek economy.

Beyond bilateral interests, Mirziyoyev and Erdoğan exchanged views on pressing international and regional matters. The discussion underlined a shared commitment to maintaining stability and fostering closer integration within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States.
