The State Labor Inspectorate under the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction received 1,495 complaints during the first half of 2026 from citizens who said they had been officially registered as employees without their consent, the ministry's press service reported.
Following investigations into the complaints, administrative and criminal measures were imposed on the managers of 143 operating enterprises and organizations. Another 56 companies were issued written orders requiring them to eliminate the identified violations.
The inspections also revealed that some of the organizations mentioned in the complaints had already been liquidated. In such cases, the labor inspectorate removed inaccurate employment records from the Unified National Labor System that had been entered between 2020 and 2025, thereby restoring the affected citizens' labor rights.
The ministry reminded citizens that anyone who discovers employment records created without their consent can file a complaint with the State Labor Inspectorate.
Reports can be submitted through the inspectorate's hotline, 1176, or via its official Telegram bot, @munosibmehnat_bot.
According to the inspectorate, every complaint is reviewed in accordance with the law, after which the necessary response measures are taken.
