According to the Dunyo Information Agency, diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Egypt met with Amr El-Shenawy, Chief Executive Officer and Board Chairman of the International Technical Construction Company (ITCC), to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, El-Shenawy expressed strong interest in working with Uzbekistan, particularly in the construction of highways and bridges. He proposed jointly developing modern transport infrastructure using high-quality construction materials.
The parties also discussed innovative solutions designed to protect asphalt pavement from direct sunlight. According to the ITCC director, the technology would significantly extend the service life of roads while reducing maintenance costs.
The Egyptian side also expressed its readiness to establish a manufacturing facility in Uzbekistan to produce the protective structures. The company said it would be able to supply high-quality products at competitive prices.
Under the agreements reached at the meeting, ITCC will soon submit detailed information on projects it has completed in Egypt and other countries, along with its proposals for cooperation with Uzbekistan. The parties also agreed to arrange El-Shenawy’s visit to Uzbekistan in September or October 2026 for talks with representatives of relevant ministries and government agencies.
ITCC specializes in construction and real estate development. In addition to Egypt, the company has implemented projects in Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, Brunei and Benin, building administrative facilities, commercial centers, highways, bridges and multi-story residential complexes for both the public and private sectors.
